In my collection of abstract realism paintings, I explored the vibrant intersection between visual art, jazz music, and poetry.

My work was deeply inspired by the jazz composition "The South Downs Suite," created by the talented composers Terry Pack, Joss Peach, Josephine Davies, and Angus Bishop. Additionally, I drew from the evocative poetry of Mandy Pannett, which beautifully captured the South Downs landscape.

"The South Downs Suite" served as a profound source of inspiration, guiding my artistic journey through its rhythm, harmony, and emotional resonance. Each movement in the suite, with its intricate melodies and improvisational spirit, translated into a visual language of colors, shapes, and forms. Pannett’s poetry, with its vivid depictions of the South Downs, also played a significant role in shaping my work, infusing it with a sense of serene beauty and depth.

As I immersed myself in both the music and the poetry, I allowed their rhythms, melodies, and evocative imagery to influence my brushstrokes and compositional choices. This fusion of auditory and literary elements transformed these sensory experiences into a visual narrative.
